The PBJ Mom: Photography

I have always loved taking pictures. It is a rare occurrence that I am without my camera. I believe that photos are one of our greatest gifts as they provide us memories, glimpses of the past, that can be treasured for years. When we go on vacation I find that my souvenirs are my photos. Two years ago, my husband bought me my first DSLR camera and I have loved exploring the new ways I can play with the settings to obtain different feels. I still have a lot to learn, but I look forward to that journey. Below you will find the names of some of my favorite photographers and photography sites. There are so many different styles of photography. I think part of the lure of photography, at least for me, is the creative choices that I have when composing an image in order to capture a memory. I love photographing nature and everyday life as it unfolds around me.

For those living in Orlando, I may soon be offering my services as an Life Moments/Event photographer. This service will be for people that are wanting to be in pictures at their children's birthday's, at Anniversaries, parties, and other gatherings. So many times I have found that I am "missing" from pictures at so many important and fun events I have attended. I'm usually the one behind the camera at my kids birthdays. So, I got the idea to offer my services so that people can enjoy the parties and events and be in the photos. I am not a professional wedding photographer or portrait photographer. My specialty is helping you capture those event and/or every day life moments that so many people are left out of. More to come on this in the future!
